    The site is flat, and access to esplanade is just across the road; ramp access to the beach (rocky) about a third of a mile along the esplanade.  Burnham town centre is a few minutes walk away.  This is a first-class site, with Bath, Bristol, the Cheddar Gorge, and Exmoor not too far away. A short drive will take you to the long sandy beaches at Berrow and Brean Sands.  There is a full and extensive range of indoor and outdoor facilities and entertainment for the whole family, as well as clubs for children up to 16.  The caravans are also available in early November for the Bridgewater Guy Fawkes and the Burnham Carnivals – please ring the Office for details of this extra week.

     

    Our caravan has wheel-in shower, wheelchair height kitchen units, double glazing & central heating.  There are two twin bedrooms and a double bed can be made up in the lounge area and one person can sleep along the sofa area (seven berth).  The bedrooms have ceiling pulleys.

    Our caravans have a veranda, and you can park next to our caravans. The park is hilly and is situated above cliffs overlooking beautiful Sandy Bay, with access to its own sandy beach down a steep slope.  The Park is on a public bus route.  This Park has an outstanding and extensive range of facilities and an almost non-stop programme of activities for children, teenagers and adults.  The pub diner has views across the bay. The Park has a great choice of shops, bars, and places to eat including a Starbucks Coffee House, Burger King and Papa John’s.  There is a spa complex including pool and beauty treatments.  There is a wonderful private sandy beach down a steep slope.

     Direct beach access by ramp – difficult but possible for wheelchairs.

    Our caravans are identical in layout.  They are adapted for wheelchair users.  They both have two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a single bed.  There is a facility in the lounge to make up a double bed and one person can sleep along the sofa area (six berth).  The bedrooms have ceiling pulleys above the beds. Each caravan has ceiling heaters in the bedrooms and bathroom and there is an electric fire in the lounge.  The shower has a 7″ lip.

    GT YARMOUTH 1 Caravan with Veranda

    The caravan has a sea view and a veranda, with a car parking space next to the caravan. This park is flat and adjacent to a sandy beach with sand dunes.    There is a grassed area in front of the caravan with a few wide steps leading to the sand dunes.  The park is at the end of Great Yarmouth’s promenade.  The facilities include a heated indoor fun pool with flumes and separate children’s pool, outdoor children’s splashzone, adventure playground, play area for under 5’s, fun palace, all-weather multi sports court, games room, amusements, bakery, gift shop, off licence, Mash & Barrel Café/Bar, Fish and Chip shop, Burger King, Papa John’s and two Showbars for family entertainment.   The Great Yarmouth Racecourse is nearby which is open from June to September.

    The Park Entrance is on a public bus route – with restricted service from Easter until Whitsun and from October onwards; although the Seafront Road Train also goes to the Park Entrance during the whole season.

    KIDWELLY  - 1 Chalet (3 bedrooms)

    The chalet is about 75 yards from the beach (access by a few steps), and there is a car parking space next to the chalet.  It has three bedrooms –single, double and bunk bedrooms – wheelchair access only to the double bedroom (and tight squeeze into the bunk bedroom!).  This site is not served by public transport and access to the site is along a very narrow lane.  We consider a car to be essential for a holiday here.  A railway line runs adjacent to the Park. The Park is flat and there is a sandy beach running alongside the site.  There is ramped access to the beach near to the clubhouse.

    This is one of their Lively Entertainment Activities Parks.  It has an indoor fun pool with flume and spa bath, family entertainment club and the Boathouse Bar and Restaurant with a delightful conservatory and terrace, children’s play areas, soft play, and takeaway.  Special entertainment in the Waterfront Showbar during the Summer School Holidays, and Big Time Star Time during the weekends of the late May and August Bank Holidays.  There are Sports Resorts and Water Resorts Programmes.  For children there is a soft play area, Sparkle’s Activity Corner for under 5’s, and Sparky’s Krew for 5-11 year olds all season, and The Mix for 12-16+ (limited season please obtain information from Trust Office).

    This chalet was completely renovated in 2010.  It has three bedrooms and is six berth.  There is a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with bunk beds and a bedroom with a single bed and a fold out single bed.  There is a 4″ lip in the shower and the chalet has fitted convector heaters.

    Our caravan has a wheel-in shower and is the larger Pemberton caravan.  This Park is on a cliff top overlooking the Solent across to the Isle of Wight, and access to the beach can be gained by a stepped path at the edge of the Holiday Village.  The site is flat and there is a car park at the rear of our caravan.  The caravan with veranda overlooks a grassed area.

    There is an excellent indoor heated swimming pool (including a hoist for a disabled person) and children’s adventure playground.  From mid-May to mid-September the heated outdoor swimming pool is open.  There is a licensed club and family lounge with some entertainment.  There is a satellite TV in the club, a pub-style family restaurant, snack bar, takeaway, self-service shop, newsagent and off-licence, amusement arcade, launderette, adventure playground, nature trail, mini 10-pin bowling alley, mini football/basketball court, toddlers’ play area and crazy golf course (extra charges for some of these activities).

     Our caravan has a wheel-in shower and is the larger Pemberton caravan.  There is a car parking space to the side of the caravan.  The Park enjoys panoramic views over Torbay and the coastline; although the site is away from the beach, which is a short drive away at Goodrington Sands – there is also a pathway to the beach (for the able bodied!) and it is quite a long walk.  The site is hilly.

    There are extensive facilities on the site for all the family including a heated outdoor pool which is open from mid-May to mid-September; as well as an excellent indoor swimming pool complex with flume, cascade and spa pool with sauna and steam rooms.  There is also a family room with a view over the pool – there is wheelchair access to this indoor swimming pool.  There is a licensed club (with satellite TV) and a family lounge with live entertainment during the whole season, and an enhanced programme from Spring Bank Holiday to the end of September.  Other facilities include children’s adventure playground, nature trail, amusement arcade, self-service shop and newsagent, launderette, restaurant, café and takeaway, hire service, crazy golf, mini ten-pin bowling, pool and snooker rooms and children’s soft play area

    No beach access as about a mile from the sea.

    Our caravan looks over the hillside and there is room to park your car next to it. This hilly site overlooks Poole Harbour and has beach access.  The facilities and entertainment are excellent and extensive  including children’s clubs, indoor toddler play, food outlets including Papa John’s, and indoor and outdoor pools.  Rockley Watersports (adjacent to the Park) offer sailing, windsurfing, power-boating and sub-aqua tuition which can be pre-booked at extra charges.

    You can explore Poole Old Town, Poole Pottery, Bournemouth, picturesque Dorset and the New Forest.  Brownsea Island, where the first ever Scout Camp took place in 1907, is easily accessible.

     Our caravan is adjacent to a camping area by some trees.  The Park is flat and is situated at the back of its own private sandy beach with an adventure playground.  This location is ideal for a variety of water sports.  There is car parking next to the caravan.  We consider a car is necessary.

    The Park has excellent facilities with a Seahorse centre including two indoor heated swimming pools (one includes a flume), bars, restaurant, activity area and gymnasium.  There are outdoor tennis courts, mini golf, and games arcade.  There is a launderette, supermarket and off-licence, and a hire shop for bicycles, dinghies and canoes (open from Whitsun to early September), as well as a boat launching service and water sports facilities.

    The Cornish coast path runs around the outside of the Park, and the Lost Garden of Heligan is a few miles away.  At an extra cost, Pentewan’s Beach Sports Centre provides a wide range of activities including formal tuition for all ages.

    SKIPSEA  - 1 Caravan

    The site is on a cliff top and is flat; car parking is alongside the caravan. We consider a car is necessary. There is a heated indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym; and there is an area on the balcony where you can watch the swimmers and have a coffee, or play pool or snooker.  There is a pleasant well-stocked fishing lake (with ducks), a golf driving range nearby, a nine-hole putting green, amusement arcade, and Kids Club during the school summer holidays.  There is a full entertainment programme, and the restaurant and amusements are open during the Easter weekend, Spring Bank Holiday weekend and school summer holidays.  Entertainment, restaurant and amusements are on Friday, Saturday and Sundays outside these dates.  All other facilities available are for all dates.  There are shopping and amusement facilities with covered walkways; launderette; take-away; a ten-pin bowling alley, ball pool with soft play area for the younger children; and outside there is a playground for small children

    There are steps down to the sandy beach only available from mid May to mid September, and at other times access to the beach is a short walk away.

    There is a popular Sunday Market adjacent to the site.  It is conveniently placed for outings to Bridlington, Scarborough, York and the North Yorkshire Moors.
