• How to Help us

We couldn’t do any of this without your help! As you may be aware, we annually provide low cost self-catering caravan holidays for over 300 families or individuals who are disadvantaged, whether through disability, income or circumstances that excludes them from the benefits provided by even a simple break away from home.

In 2013, the Trust raised enough money through fundraising and donations to enable us to purchase a brand new caravan to replace the old one at St Austell in Cornwall . This has been extremely popular and with the new wetroom bathroom it has proved to be perfect for those holidaymakers who have a disability.

In 2014 through fundraising and donations, we have raised enough money to replace our old caravan at Poole and purchase a new caravan on a different site in Filey, Yorkshire for the beginning of the 2015 season.  We no longer have a caravan at Skipsea and the Filey one has replaced this.  We have sold our chalet in Kidwelly and have purchased a new caravan at Church Farm Holiday Park in West Sussex to replace this.   These wheelchair accessible caravans will be specially modified to cater for people with a disability.

We are grateful to everyone who sent us money towards these projects and we would also like to thank the following organisations for their donations:-

    Last Will and Testament

One of the most important ways you can support us is by leaving a gift in your Will. Of course when the time comes to think about making a Will, we understand that family comes first. But if you want to help us too, we can explain how to do just that. Every gift, large or small, will help. It’s easy to do, and by acting now, you can ensure that we can continue to make a difference to those families or individuals in need.
We are a charity that is largely funded by donations and by our members. We rely on donations such as legacies to keep our costs low as we are committed to making holidays affordable and accessible for everyone. We really need to replace our ageing caravans with new ones and we need to maintain each unit which can be costly. we also need to pay ever increasing site fees each year.
You can help us by leaving us a legacy in your Will. It is important to plan your Will as it is the only way to ensure that your wishes are fulfilled and that loved ones and the causes you care about are looked after. It is best to make an appointment with a solicitor to discuss your options. This will enable you to give in a way that is right for you and your loved ones. Your Will is personal, and can be changed at any time. If you want to leave a gift to the Holiday Homes Trust, a codicil can be added, which allows you to make changes to a Will without redrafting the whole document.
Your support is vital to us and your legacy would really help us to continue to make a difference to those families that need your help.
